I saw The Dark Knight Friday. Excellent movie. REALLY Excellent movie. I'm having a hard time deciding whether it or Ironman is my choice for superhero movie of the year. Its been interesting watching the new age of superhero movies over the past few years... and very rewarding to see the DC/Marvel rivalry build up in a new medium.
Just extending the theme out, my kids and I are watching the first X-Men movie (2000). When it came out I remember thinking "wow. This is great... it can't get better" now it looks dated. The effects are the only thing, its the world view too. No matter... it's great entertainment.
